Steven Goldberg Founder and President
After years as a successful Hollywood producer, Steven took on a more personal project in 1992 with Starlight International when he started working with expert nutritionists and herbalist to formulate, market and nationally distribute state-of-the-art dietary supplements. Things got even more personal in 2005 when he lost his beloved German Shepherd Lars to cancer at the too-early age of 8½ and decided to find out why such a seemingly healthy dog would pass on at such a young age. What he discovered was that dogs like people need daily supplements. He then made it his mission to help fellow pet parents have healthier dogs so that they would not suffer the same way he and Lars had. His research with expert animal nutritionists and connections in the human-grade supplements industry led to the Pet Parent's Network and the development of the breakthrough nutritional supplement for dogs, HealthGUARD®.
Steven and wife Elvia are proud pet parents to Felix, Finna and new puppy, Zelly.
